A Man, The Child

Beneath the blazing sun
A cold Wind breathes
Piercing my Heart
— as the blade of a sword.

My soul, like a leaf,
Has been tossed
Amidst a world
I knew little of.

Awakening to a life
Lived while asleep
A forty year old child?
Fearful, frightened
A four year old man?
