Death has been Slain

Forestalling the dawn, the women came with Mary, found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre,  Mary heard from the angel say:

"Why seek ye among the dead, as though He were mortal, Him Who liveth in everlasting light?"*

Behold those in the graves,

Of your cousins Slavs, it's a fratricidal feud, have come to destroy you.

But you the "Ukraine have not died yet".

Your enemies will die, as the dew does in the sunshine, as darkness flees before the Holy Face of Christ Our Lord, the God-Man who defeated Death by His Resurrection, He Comes.

He is here!

The Dark Czar of Moscow has denied you the joyfulness of participation in Christ's Resurrection.

The demonic forces have destroyed the Temples in your land.

Go quickly and proclaim to the world that the Lord is risen and hath slain death. For He is the Son of God Who saveth mankind.

And claim your Victory over evil,

O children of St Volodymyr,

Have mercy on them and pray to our God for thy children of Ukraine.
